Representatives from the London & Southern Counties Centre of CIWM visited Biogen's Bygrave AD plant in Hertfordshire last week.  Following a presentation to the group, Local Authority Manager Iain Pickles handed over to Biogen Operations Manager Lawrence Cooper and Site Manager Kevin Eagles for a tour of the 45,000 tonnes food waste recyling facility.

Honorary Secretary for the London & Southern Counties Centre of CIWM, Mike Bland, thanked Biogen for hosting the tour adding that CIWM members had found the visit informative and enjoyable and praised their tour guides for their knowledge and enthusiasm.
