Greenfinch process engineering technology comes with over 30 years of experience within the industry. Our employees pride themselves on providing British technology and guaranteeing successful projects. The three main sectors are:
Sewage Sludge Digesters; our main focus is the re-designing of existing assets to improve reliability & efficiency, ensuring safe, robust and simple operation. Recently, we refurbished sewage sludge digesters at both Gowerton and Narberth waste water treatment works.
Farm Digesters; we are currently designing and constructing farm digesters in Hillsborough, N. Ireland and in Kemble, near Cirencester. Both plants will be fed a mixture of slurry and energy crops. We have designed and built 7 on-farm digesters in South-West Scotland in 2005/2006.
Food Waste Digesters; we designed, built and are now operating the South Shropshire Biodigester. The plant is the first of its kind in the UK to process source-separated municipal kitchen waste into biogas and a bio-fertiliser.
