Design and engineering

Our skill in anaerobic digestion technology and operating commercial AD plants comes from over 30 years of working in this field.
We have proven operational experience of the practical design and application of anaerobic digesters to recycle food and other organic wastes – knowledge built up on the back of extensive research and development in collaboration with academics and government.
The design and build of plants, such as our new Westwood facility near Rushden in Northamptonshire, ensure:
- Quality of operation and output.
- Long-term application.
- Robustness of engineering.
- Ease of maintenance.
- Genuine contribution to recycling and renewable energy.
British design, British built
Our commercial plants are all-British in design, with specialist manufacturing carried out in-house, enabling us to source the best equipment in the world. Our philosophy is to look at the lifetime cost of the project, designing and building each plant for its whole life rather than simply the up-front cost.
Our engineers are specialists in areas such as stainless steel welding, vital to the successful design and operation of anaerobic digesters. They also have an intimate understanding of the demands of the technology on the building and civil engineering aspects of the projects, vital to efficient waste handling and processing operations. Our engineering team is located in our offices in Ludlow, Shropshire.
With leading British technology and proven operating experience, we are uniquely placed to provide fully integrated anaerobic digestion solutions in the UK.
