BiogenGreenfinch provides food waste producers, retailers, restaurants, caterers and commercial business with a highly cost effective and competitive food waste service that is acknowledged to be the best technology for the recycling of food waste.

For commercial businesses and restaurants, Cawleys have pioneered, in partnership with BiogenGreenfinch, a Food Recycling Round which is the first commercial food waste collection service to AD. It offers a zero landfill solution by taking food waste to our Biogas plant with a collection network covering the Midlands through to London to suit operational needs, six days a week. This service helps any food waste producer to save money on costly landfill and incinerator costs, improve their carbon footprint, and demonstrate their impeccable green credentials to customers.

Early adopters of this innovative service include Raymond Blanc’s Brasserie Blanc in Milton Keynes and John Torode’s Smiths of Smithfield in London.  Joe Dixon, restaurant manager of Smiths of Smithfield, is passionate about the need for restaurateurs to recognise their environmental responsibilities.

In 2006 BiogenGreenfinch established a logistics partnership with Cawleys, an innovative waste management and recycling company which celebrated its 60th year in business in 2007. Their company ethos is ‘local recycling, global responsibility’ presenting a complete range of sustainable waste and recycling solutions for commercial operations from offices and retailers to industrial food manufacturing sites.
