But I’m only small!

There’s a perception that a pub, small caterer or restaurant can’t participate because of the relatively small amount of waste to be collected – and that there isn’t room for large recycling bins… and infrequent collections will create a build up of odour, vermin and other health and safety risks through food waste lying around.

We are conscious of these pressures, especially in city and town centres, as well as the cost of collection. Our partnerships with authorised waste contractors include a daily ‘food round’ collection, the quantity collected from individual establishments not being an issue. There is a variety of recycling bin sizes to suit all establishments.
