Our vision

BIOGEN is dedicated to promoting, developing and utilising new technologies to respond to today’s environmental challenges. We aim to use our expertise to deliver green solutions that meet environmental challenges whilst supporting the sustainability of farming and rural communities.

I feel passionately that we all have to take responsibility for reducing carbon emissions and putting something back into our environment. I believe BIOGEN can be a major force in the development of AD across the UK, and that in so doing we can make a huge difference to reducing greenhouse gases and supplying the UK's green electricity needs.

BIOGEN shares Bedfordia Group's vision of responsibility and also has a clear commercial vision for our own trading business. We are developing a national network of Integrated AD plants across the UK.

We plan to work with partners who share our values and our commitment to protecting the environment, and to supporting farming and rural communities. We also seek to continually develop and improve the efficiency of our AD processes and to promote the environmental benefits of this technology for the community as a whole.

Our whole philosophy is rooted in our empathy with the land, farming and rural communities. Wherever we operate, we recognise that we are part of a local community; and with that comes a responsibility to help support, protect and maintain the local environment, economy and the community within it. But we are also part of a wider community, and through BIOGEN's technology we can fulfil an even greater responsibility to help meet the global environmental challenges we all face today.
